Shogun Audio have done it again with the return of production powerhouse SpectraSoul as they release of their new single Always / I Don’t Mind.

Taken from their second album The Mistress, due for release in May 2015, the LP builds on the success of their stunning 2012 debut Delay No More. Inspired by a new studio philosophy and fresh creative partnerships, the new works looks certain to cement their story even further.

Always is a Soulful, deep piano driven number with amazingly emotional vocals throughout, I Don’t Mind is slightly harder and grimier but still with a touch of soul entwined within it.

SpectraSoul’s Jack Stevens and Dave Kennett explain:

“We’re really proud to present the first single from our new album. We’ve worked hard on this project for the last 18 months and so it’s great to finally begin to feed it out to the public. ‘Always’ encapsulates all that we are about — Emotive, rich musicality and a warm sound palette. ‘I Don’t Mind’, on the other hand, appeals to the dancefloor nature of our tastes — adding tamed aggression into the fold. We hope that this single sets the tone for what is to come, and we look forward to sharing it with you.”

Scheduled for release early March, this release from SpectraSoul is definitely Shogun’s best release of 2015 so far.
